Where You Will Stay
La Dogana
La Dogana is a family-run historical estate overlooking Lake Trasimeno, set among 4,000 olive trees that produce delicious organic olive oil each year. The property is made up of the Lake House, which contains 11 apartments, and the Coach House, an independent home located about 300 meters away.
Nine of the apartments include two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), a bathroom, living room, and kitchenette. The remaining two apartments each feature one bedroom with a double bed, a living room, kitchenette, and bathroom.
Every apartment is equipped with an Italian moka coffee maker, 100% natural and organic hand and body soap, shampoo, dish soap, as well as bathroom and swimming pool towels and bed linens.
Near the Lake House, there is a facility house with free access to a washing machine (with natural soap), microwave, tea kettle, refrigerator with ice, assorted teas, instant coffee, sugar, olive oil, extra toilet paper, and additional swimming pool towels. Please note there is no dryer, but each apartment provides a drying rack for sun-drying clothes.
At the top of the hill, about 500 meters from the Lake House, guests will find a swimming pool with stunning views over the lake and its islands.
The on-site restaurant is central to the estate, where meals are prepared daily with farm-to-table ingredients. The property also has a beautiful yoga studio located above the restaurant, comfortably fitting 20 guests and offering sweeping lake views. The studio is stocked with Manduka mats (4mm and 5mm), blankets, blocks, straps, and pillows.
Today, La Dogana is managed by Lucia, along with her dedicated team of women and Matteo, the gardener. Lucia represents the fourth generation of her family to care for the estate, continuing the tradition of hospitality and preservation of the land.

Why This Retreat?
Pause. Breathe. Reconnect.
This isn’t just time away—it’s an invitation to return to yourself in a place that radiates grace. In mid-June, when Tuscany is suffused in golden light and lavender-scented air, Agriturismo La Dogana becomes a sacred pause.
Imagine greeting the day in an ancient olive-mill-turned-yoga sanctuary, warmed by the sun, surrounded by the estate’s own olive trees and overlooking Lake Trasimeno. Here, you’ll move, meditate, and melt into the embrace of gentle days.
Every meal—crafted from the estate’s own produce and local, seasonal ingredients—nourishes your body and deepens your connection to place. Cultural experiences—pasta-making with the chef, wine tastings in family vineyards, truffle hunts in the woods, and town tours of local gems—aren’t just excursions. They are invitations to taste, walk, and belong to this land.
You arrive fully held: private transfer awaits; your comfortable, rustic apartment welcomes you with coffee, sunlight, and simple elegance; all essentials—from yoga props to heartfelt hospitality—are there for you.
This retreat is for those ready to reset: to sink into community; to slow; to open—to beauty, to belonging, to the best version of themselves. You’ll leave with tools for self-care rooted in ancient wisdom, unforgettable Italian serenity, and a heart full of inspiration
