Day 6: Post Cleanse Approach

The body is in a deeply important process right now. It is highly receptive and will respond with sensitivity to your choices in the upcoming days. Use this window with care and intention to help the tissues to rebuild and to establish ojas. Ojas is like the nectar that is the result of clean digestion, clear mind, and a well functioning system. You know when you look at someone who is vibrant and seems to light up the room? That is somebody with strong ojas! In Ayurvedic Medicine, we cleanse and detoxify, and then we move into the strengthening and ojas building phase. The deeper we detoxify, the more beneficial this next phase will be. Many of you have asked if it would be good to extend the cleanse. The answer is YES! There is no rush to get to the next phase, but if you know the time has come then begin to integrate some of the types of foods that you have cut out. One food type at at a time to see how the body responds to the addition. So listen extra closely to the communications within today and approach with “satya”, the sanskrit word for honesty. What is your body truly asking for?
